Provisional?

What do I mean by “provisional atheist?” I mean that current evidence does not support the statement, “God exists.” So, until I find conclusive evidence proving otherwise, I will live my life as though God or gods do not exist. What is the difference between an agnostic and a provisional atheist? In my opinion, not much. I suppose the main difference is that by applying the atheist label to myself, I am taking a stance on the issue. An agnostic will say we can’t know if there is a god, and his argument might end there. An atheist makes a statement and risks being wrong. The provisional part means that I’m willing to change my mind if it’s warranted.

I know I’ll never be able to prove there is no God, but I doubt anyone will ever prove there is a God.
